Privacy policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

ApexTools respects your privacy and aims to explain clearly how your personal information is handled when you visit, interact with, or make a purchase through www.apextools.store (the “Store”).

ApexTools is an online retail business based in Morocco and operated by Abdelaziz Hamioui. In this Privacy Policy, “ApexTools,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the ApexTools business and its operations.

This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect, why we use it, when we disclose it, how long we retain it, and the choices and rights available to you. It applies together with our Terms of Service and other policies displayed on the Store.

1. Personal Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with the Store.

Information you provide directly

  • Contact and identity information: such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, and shipping address.
  • Order information: such as the products ordered, quantity, order value, discounts, delivery method, tracking details, and order history.
  • Account information: such as account credentials and saved preferences, when customer accounts are available.
  • Payment and transaction information: such as payment method, payment status, billing details, and limited transaction identifiers. Complete card details are processed by Shopify and/or the applicable payment provider and are not stored by ApexTools.
  • Communications: information you include when contacting customer support, submitting a return request, replying to an email, or otherwise communicating with us.
  • Reviews and user content: star ratings, written reviews, photographs, videos, questions, answers, and related information you voluntarily submit.
  • Marketing preferences: whether you have chosen to receive or stop receiving promotional communications.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Store, Shopify and approved technologies may automatically collect information such as:

  • IP address and approximate location;
  • browser, device, operating system, language, and time-zone information;
  • cookie and similar-technology identifiers;
  • pages, products, and features viewed or used;
  • referring URLs, search terms, clicks, cart activity, checkout activity, and purchase events;
  • session, performance, diagnostic, security, and fraud-prevention information; and
  • advertising interaction and attribution information, where permitted.

Information received from other sources

We may receive information from Shopify, payment providers, fulfillment partners, carriers, review services, advertising platforms, fraud-prevention providers, and other service providers involved in operating the Store. We may also receive information when you interact with an advertisement, social platform, or linked service.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Store;
  • process payments, accept orders, and provide order confirmations;
  • prepare, fulfill, ship, track, and deliver purchases;
  • communicate about orders, delivery, returns, refunds, and customer-support requests;
  • send product review requests after fulfillment and administer submitted reviews;
  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and prohibited activity;
  • measure Store performance, understand customer journeys, and improve usability;
  • personalize content, recommendations, and advertising where permitted;
  • send marketing communications when you have subscribed or where otherwise permitted by law;
  • honor cookie, marketing, and data-sharing choices;
  • maintain business, tax, accounting, dispute, and compliance records;
  • enforce our policies and protect our customers, ApexTools, Shopify, service providers, and others; and
  • comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information based on one or more of the following:

  • Contract: to process and fulfill your order, take payment, provide delivery, and handle related support.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate and improve the Store, prevent fraud, protect security, understand performance, provide customer service, and pursue or defend legal claims, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: for certain marketing communications, non-essential cookies, advertising technologies, or other processing where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: to meet tax, accounting, consumer-protection, regulatory, recordkeeping, and lawful disclosure requirements.

4. How We Disclose Personal Information

We disclose personal information only where reasonably necessary to operate the Store, provide requested services, protect legitimate interests, or comply with law. Recipients may include:

Shopify

Our Store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes information for ecommerce hosting, storefront functionality, checkout, payments where applicable, order administration, analytics, security, fraud prevention, customer privacy controls, and other platform services. You can learn more in Shopify’s Privacy Policy.

Payment providers

Shopify and/or the payment provider selected at checkout receive the information needed to authorize, process, secure, and record your payment. Their own privacy terms may also apply.

Zendrop, suppliers, warehouses, and carriers

We use Zendrop and related suppliers, fulfillment locations, logistics providers, and delivery carriers to prepare and deliver orders. They may receive information such as your name, delivery address, telephone number, email address, order contents, and tracking details where needed for fulfillment, customs, delivery, or support.

Judge.me

We use Judge.me to collect and display product reviews and to send review-request emails after fulfillment. Judge.me may process information such as your name, email address, order number, product purchased, fulfillment timing, review content, and communication status. A published review may display your chosen name or display name, star rating, written content, and any media you submit.

Meta and advertising services

We may use Meta Business Tools, including the Meta Pixel and, where configured, server-side measurement tools, to measure advertising performance, attribute purchases, improve campaigns, and create or reach relevant audiences. Depending on your location, consent choices, and the configuration in use, Meta may receive device and browser information, cookie identifiers, page and product activity, cart or purchase events, and hashed contact identifiers. Meta processes this information under its own privacy terms.

Professional, security, and legal recipients

We may disclose information to technology, email, hosting, fraud-prevention, security, accounting, insurance, legal, and professional advisers where necessary. We may also disclose information to courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, tax authorities, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

Business changes

If ApexTools is reorganized, sold, transferred, financed, or combined with another business, relevant information may be disclosed as part of evaluating or completing that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.

5. Shopify Network Intelligence

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for the Store. As described by Shopify, this service can use information generated through Shopify services together with information from other participating Shopify merchants and services to improve Shopify products, fraud prevention, personalization, analytics, and advertising-related services.

Some disclosures or uses for personalized advertising may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws, even though no money is exchanged for your personal information. Where applicable, you may opt out through the Store’s automated Data Sharing Opt-Out page or other privacy-choice links presented on the Store. You can also learn more or submit requests through Shopify’s Privacy Portal.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Store and understand how it is used.

  • Essential technologies support functions such as security, account access, shopping-cart operation, checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, and remembering privacy choices. The Store might not function correctly without them.
  • Analytics technologies help measure visits, usage, performance, and customer journeys.
  • Personalization technologies help remember preferences and tailor Store experiences.
  • Advertising technologies help measure campaigns, attribute conversions, control advertising frequency, and provide more relevant advertising.

Shopify’s automated cookie banner is shown in regions where Shopify determines consent is required. In those regions, non-essential cookies and pixels managed through Shopify’s consent system are subject to the choices you make. You can accept, reject, or manage available categories through the banner and can revisit your choices through the Store’s privacy links.

You can also manage cookies through your browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Store, cart, or checkout from working. Where legally recognized and technically supported, we and Shopify may also respond to browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control.

7. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising Choices

ApexTools does not sell personal information for money. However, some laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly enough to include certain disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, analytics, or personalization.

For residents of jurisdictions where these rights apply, Shopify provides an automated Data Sharing Opt-Out page for the Store. Submitting an opt-out request can restrict covered advertising or data-sharing activity associated with the information you provide. Cookie choices and browser-based signals may also affect applicable tracking.

Opting out of targeted advertising does not necessarily stop all advertising. You may continue to see advertisements that are contextual, non-personalized, or based on information that is not linked to you.

8. Marketing Communications and Review Requests

We send promotional email or SMS messages only when you have subscribed or when otherwise permitted by applicable law. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us.

Order confirmations, delivery updates, security notices, responses to support requests, and other transactional communications are not marketing messages and may still be sent where necessary to provide your order or requested service.

We may use Judge.me to send a product review request after fulfillment. Our current settings are designed to avoid sending these requests to customers who have opted out of Shopify marketing emails. Review requests can also include an unsubscribe option provided by Judge.me.

9. Reviews and Public Content

When you submit a review, question, answer, photograph, video, or other public content, the information you choose to publish may be visible to Store visitors and may be indexed or copied by search engines or other users. Do not include sensitive, confidential, or unnecessary personal information in public content.

We may moderate, verify, respond to, or remove content in accordance with our policies and applicable law. We may contact you privately to confirm a review, respond to a problem, or request information needed to investigate an issue.

10. International Processing and Transfers

ApexTools is based in Morocco, while Shopify currently identifies the United States as the Store’s data-storage hosting location. Shopify and other service providers may process information in the United States, Morocco, Europe, Canada, and other countries where they or their subprocessors operate.

Privacy laws and protections can differ between countries. Where required, we and our providers rely on recognized transfer mechanisms, contractual safeguards, adequacy decisions, consent, or other lawful methods for international processing.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing orders and support, maintaining tax and accounting records, managing returns and disputes, preventing fraud, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the relationship involved, provider requirements, limitation periods, and applicable law. When information is no longer required, we may delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible. Service providers may retain information according to their own legal obligations and retention policies.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. These measures include relying on Shopify’s secured commerce infrastructure, limiting access according to operational need, and using established service providers.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use unique credentials, protect access to your email and devices, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized activity involving an ApexTools order or account.

13. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • request access to personal information we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion of personal information;
  • request restriction of or object to certain processing;
  • receive certain information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal;
  • opt out of marketing communications;
  • opt out of qualifying sale, sharing, profiling, or targeted advertising;
  • appeal a decision concerning a privacy request where applicable; and
  • submit a complaint to a competent privacy or data-protection authority.

To submit a request, email info@apextools.store or use our Contact page. Please describe the request and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted, but we may require proof of authority and verification of the customer.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Some information may need to be retained where required for legal obligations, completed transactions, fraud prevention, security, accounting, disputes, or other lawful exceptions.

14. Children’s Privacy

The Store is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner prohibited by law. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review and address the matter.

15. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Store may link to websites, social platforms, payment services, tracking pages, or other services operated by third parties. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy notices and practices. We encourage you to review those notices before providing information directly to a third party.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our Store, service providers, technology, legal obligations, or business practices. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
